All Dogs must be fully vaccinated.

When your dog is brought into the salon for any type of groom it is essential that they are given a health evaluation.

A health care card will also need completing.

This is essential for the well-being of your pet so they are fit to be groomed.

The health check will include checking ears, eyes, nose, teeth, skin and nails.

This could assist the early identification of health problems.

Part of the full groom will include a brush out, pre clip and de-matting (if needed) and pad trimming.

If matting is excessive then an additional charge may be incurred. This can be discussed at point of booking and during the health check.

Your dog will then enjoy a warm hydrobath.

A Hydrobath is the most effective way of washing your dog but also provides a therapeutic water massage.

This helps with blood circulation, relieves tired muscles and has been found to be beneficial for arthritis sufferers and older dogs.

Water gets right to the skin removing dead skin cells, dirt and grime resulting in better coat and skin condition.

Another advantage is that certain treatment solutions for skin conditions or flea prevention can be added to the water during the Hydrobath.

The appropriate shampoo for coat and skin type will be used. Conditioner will be used if needed. Anal glands will be checked at this stage (if requested).

After the hydrobath, your dog will be part towel dried and hand blowed dried. We do not use drying cabinets.

The next stage is to trim the hygiene area, final clip and scissor work.

Then the ears will be plucked and cleaned followed by nail clipping.

Finally your pet will be given a refreshing squirt of pet cologne (as long as your dog doesn’t have a skin a condition).
